I am proud of being the Principal of such a wonderful well established institution SIHM Dharamshala, which is fully dedicated to the cause of better India and best training in hospitality education. Through education and their real empowerment, I am happy to tell you that our vision is creating Global community of Hospitality Leaders to Lead the Hospitality Industry and mission is to generate quality manpower for the hospitality and tourism industry. I appreciate the staff and students of all faculties who use various modes of expression to present their ideas. As long as our ideas are expressed and thoughts kindled, we can be sure of learning as everything begins with an idea.

In order to accomplish our vision and mission, we are prepared to take as much effort as possible for the betterment of Hospitality education scenario in India. We believe that education is an effective medium of social transformation. Our institute cares for the individual development of each and every student. We follow “mentoring system” under which each class is put into the multi-pronged web of a teacher. We accord prime importance to the behavioural discipline, moral integrity and cognitive developments of our students.

Our budding talents have expressed their thoughts, ideas, hopes, feelings, aspirations and conventions in a creative way. After revival for the COVID pandemic the growth of hospitality sector shows tremendous strategies to handle the upsurge. We here are too committed. 3-years BSc to 4-years BSc Honours under the highly esteemed Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi will bring much awaited response in admission positively in coming years. Various new short term courses and structural changes in syllabus will yield generous response by the industry.
